Mesotherapy Anti-Aging Face Treatment
Mesotherapy is a non surgical cosmetic solution that involves injecting microscopic quantities of various types of FDA approved natural extracts, homeopathic agents, pharmaceuticals and vitamins into the skin to nourish and rejuvenate, promote production of collagen and elastin, and stimulate your skin metabolism. Mesotherapy for face rejuvenation is very popular in Europe for more than 40 years.
One of the ingridients used in this treatment is hyaluronic acid which naturally found in the skin. It plumps the skin, giving the face a more youthful appearance. Hyaluronic acid injection also triggers antiaging mechanisms in skin cells and aids in the production of collagen and elastin. As a result gives a lifting effect and a radiant aspect on the skin.
What is it for?
Mesotherapy can be used for :
- Repair and restore the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
- Treat sagging skin
- Face/neck rejuvenation,
Mesotherapy can be used a supplement, or an alternative, to many anti-aging regimens, including botox, laser resurfacing, peels, antioxidants, topical creams and facelifts.
Is there any side effect?
The side-effects of the treatment are relatively minor and some people experience no side-effects at all. Slight redness or swelling is possible but resolves itself within a couple of days.
What happens during the treatment?
Usually ice pack would be sufficient, however, we can provide a topical anesthetic that makes treatment virtually painless. One session will take 30-45 minutes. It involves a series of very small (micro) injections just under the skin. You can return to your normal daily routine or work afterwards. Treatment is usually given weekly or two-weekly.
How long will it last?
On average, patients notice visible improvement in two to three sessions. Once optimum results are achieved maintenance treatments are advisable to maintain the desired effect.
What should I be aware of after the treatment?
- Do not take anti-inflammatories (Aspirin, Ponstan, Mortin, Nurofen etc.) and Vitamin E for 24 hours post-treatment. General painkillers (Tylenol, Paracetamol, etc.) are acceptable if necessary.
